Mountainview residence is located alongside the picturesque city of Bangsaen, appr 75 km. south of Bangkok airport.
Check map below. The Mountainview locality consists of appr. 70 free-standing houses and 30 terrace houses. The
inhabitants are Scandinavians, mostly Swedish people. Mountainview has also a large swimming pool, clubhouse,
gym and a restaurant that offers Thai, Swedish and international food.
The city of Bangsaen is a very popular weekend place for Bangkok citizens that go down by car or bus for having a good
time along the 4 km. long Bangsaen beach. For Scandinavians, Thai way of spending time at the beach is exotic. Food
and parasols are of importance. There are more than 100 small kitchen shops along the beach walking street. Mostly
sea food is cooked and served.

Bangsaen is a small and enjoyable city with helpful and kind inhabitants, that consider us Scandinavians as an exotic
view in Bangsaen. Foreigners (farangs) are still few here.

for golf enthusiasts.
